Concert Singers invited to Heritage Festival of Gold
For the second time, the Mirman School Concert Singers have been invited to sing in the Heritage Festival of Gold, which will take place this year on the stage of Segerstrom Concert Hall at the Orange County Performing Arts Center from April 17th-19th. The Concert Singers will compete in this by-invitation-only festival with such renowned ensembles as The Davis Children's Chorale from Davis, California and the Gulf Coast Youth Chorus from Tampa Bay, Florida. The festival includes a clinic with Elena Sharkova of San Jose State University. Three of our Concert Singers - Nicole Cohen, Christine Bradshaw and Danielle Wolf - have been chosen to participate in the Festival's Honor Choir, conducted by Craig Jessop, former music director of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and head of Utah State University's Department of Music. The Festival Performances and the Honor Choir Encore Concert will take place on Monday, April 19th and admission is free.
