Join the Mirman Team at the Revlon Run/Walk
On Saturday, May 8, 2010, the Mirman community will come together as we have for years to join the Revlon Run/Walk for Women. This year we have a special motivation. Ms. Jocelyn Balaban, a beloved teacher, administrator and long-time member of the Mirman community who has always led the Mirman Revlon Run/Walk Team, is in treatment for breast cancer. Now, hopefully, she will benefit from the very research she has worked hard to support all these years. This is an opportunity for the entire Mirman community - parents, students, faculty, staff, administration and alumni - to actively show our support for Ms. Balaban's recovery by joining the Mirman Team in her honor on May 8th. Come celebrate Ms. B's strength and courage and fight for the common dream that all women will one day be safe from breast and ovarian cancer.
