Mirman Students Sweep Regional Scholastic Honors in Art
In its Regional competition this year, Scholastic honored Mirman students with six Gold Keys, nine Silver Keys and 4 Honorable Mention awards! Earning Gold Keys were Emma Berson (mixed media), Nikita Bess (drawing), Alexis Ladge (drawing), Olamide Ogunbambo (digital art), Julian Roberts (sculpture)and Madison Rubeli (ceramics). Silver Key winners were Laura Chavolla-Zacarias (drawing), Cameron Rider (drawing), Nina Woythaler (drawing), Chloe Gauthier (painting), Mazelle Etessami (photography), Christopher Moody (photography), Madison Rubeli (photography), Ethan Sussman (photography), and Kyle Yeh (photography). Maisie Lynton received Honorable Mention for her work in painting, while Ethan Sussman, Kyle Yeh, and Kaitlyn received theirs in digital art. Kudos to Ms. Karin Durup, who teaches and inspires our students every day!
